What We Do

Our Mission & Vision

What We Do

We provide a platform where healthcare professionals can network to find solutions to mutual concerns, discuss events and incidents affecting our locality, and provide aid on an individual and organizational level for the benefit of our community. We do this by facilitating networking through local events we host, providing centralized points of contact, and sharing of information & collaboration.

What We Do

We represent healthcare security professionals from a multitude of healthcare organizations located within South Florida. These professionals are members of the International Association of Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) and we are an authorized local chapter of IAHSS. We are a registered Florida non-profit organization overseen by an elected board of directors. The Florida counties that we represent are: Lee, Hendry, Collier, Monroe, Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade.

Our Mission & Vision

Mission: To provide our members with the support necessary to achieve IAHSS' mission of "leading excellence in healthcare security, safety and emergency management ".


Vision: To become an invaluable resource for our local healthcare community by helping them provide a safe healing enviroment for their patients, visitors, and staff.

Robert is a Regional Sales Manager for Axis Communications. He previously served as the Vice-Chair since 2022  before being elected as the Chapter Chair in May 2023 and is one of the chapter's founding members.

Nelson is the Director of Enterprise Healthcare Safety for Allied Universal. Nelson originally joined IAHSS in 2016. Nelson has hosted several webinars about Security K9's in Healthcare for your organization. He was elected as Vice Chair in June 2023.
